Crimson Peak – Uncomfortably spooky!

Hey guys!!

Another week, another new movie release. It seems that I have gotten really lucky  with my squad at college. We pretty much go to the cinema at least once a week (next week we’re going twice and I already can’t hold my excitement.) This week: Crimson Peak. The new fantasy/horror/thriller (it really is all of those things) from Guillermo del Toro. I could never quite make out the story from the trailer or had any idea what it would be about. So, obviously I was pretty clueless going in and oh boy.. I was in for a surprise.

The Scorch Trials – The action adventure continues!

Hey guys!

I have finally seen Scorch Trials, wahoo! People who know me know that I’m a HUGE fan of the Maze Runner trilogy. Like.. really huge. The books are some of my favorite dystopian and YA books out there. The second being my all time favorite of them (which made this movie really important for me). So obviously I’m going to be a little biased rating this movie because I love the trilogy and the insanely talented cast. I have found amazing friends through the books and they made hard times easier for me. For those things I will never be able to thank James Dashner enough. These books were a life changer for me.

I will keep it spoiler free as always but will talk about the changes that were made.

Mr. Robot hacked its way into my heart

Okay, okay.. super cheesy title. I’m sorry but it couldn’t be more true and if this post is odd.. I’m still recovering from the finale.

Summer break or any kind of other break is the time where I use my free time to watch all the TV shows that I couldn’t catch up on while being at college. This summer was filled with a lot of great shows I had to catch up on and new ones that I just started. One of them being Mr. Robot.

So here’s the thing.. I loved Rami Malek in The War At Home as Kenny and also saw him in Twilight years after. For no reason whatsoever I lost sight of him until this summer. Suddenly there was Until Dawn (I’m obsessed with that game) and Mr. Robot. Friends made me play the game and everyone was talking about Mr. Robot. Eventually I gave in and got into both of this things. Now I’m addicted. Thanks everyone.

The Jungle Book (2016) – Stunning teaser trailer is out!

Hey guys!
So, I didn’t really plan this post but I was (once again) blown away by a new trailer that was released: The Jungle Book. I’m already apologizing if this turns out to be random jabbering about how excited I am for this.

Maybe some of you know that there are two  movies about the beloved Disney movie in production. I have always been confusing them (please tell me I’m not the only one). With the trailer for the movie coming 2016 some of that confusion should be cleared up though. The story of the movie is the classic one that we all know and love. The orphan boy Mowgli is raised in the jungle by animals.

Everest – Never Let Go

The other day I had the privilege to see Everest before its actual release date and let me tell you… when you’re into adventure movies.. this is the movie you can’t miss. Honestly, if you’re a fan of well made and thoughtful movies you cannot miss this one. No, actually… whatever kind of person you are.. do NOT miss that movie.

Let’s start off with some facts about the movie. It’s based on the Mount Everest disaster that occurred in 1996 and tells the story of Rob Halls (Jason Clarke) and Scott Fischers (Jake Gyllenhaal) expeditions that have to deal with one of the worst storms encountered by mankind. Both expeditions struggle to survive and find a way home.
